WAKE UP! Awareness Brings Answers!
There's a specific moment I want to talk about, and I bet you know it. It's 3:47 AM.
You're not awake because you're rested. You're awake because your brain won't stop running the numbers. The meeting. The mortgage. The thing you said you'd start Monday and didn't. You lie there in the dark, telling yourself you'll figure it out — and somehow that's the same thing you told yourself last Tuesday, and the Tuesday before that.
I know that moment intimately. There was a stretch in my life where 3 AM and I were on a first-name basis. I'd built a business I was proud of on paper and a life that felt like a hamster wheel in practice.
I was checking every box and still couldn't tell you what I actually wanted — let alone how to get there. I wasn't lazy. I was directionless. And that's a far more dangerous thing, because directionless people stay busy enough to never admit they're lost.
🟢 Here's what I've learned the hard way: everyone is on autopilot. Almost nobody is on purpose.
The difference isn't willpower or hustle or one more productivity app. It's rhythm — the kind that makes the right thing automatic instead of agonizing.
So today I brought in a man who actually cracked the code. David Fulmer went from a pro juvenile delinquent who got locked up twelve times to building a multimillion-dollar business, losing it all in the recession, and rebuilding — all while raising a family in Hawaii.
He spent a decade reverse-engineering the one thing that separates people who live on purpose from people who just live on repeat. He wrote it down in a book called Becoming Seven, and it's not what you think — it's not seven habits to cram into your day. It's seven days, each one with its own superhuman attribute, hijacking a calendar you already know by heart.
He calls it the superhuman rhythm. And by the time we're done, I think you'll understand why nobody's talking about it — because it sounds almost too simple. The scroll-stopping part is that it works. Let's get into it.
Everything is broken down piece by piece, so you can pull out exactly what you need. Quick read now. Quick reference later. Let's get into it.
🏆 Tactical Tuesday UPGRADE
Most people let Tuesday blur into autopilot and call it "just another day." High-level humans did the opposite — they turned Tuesday into the day they watch themselves. Here's the real problem: you can't fix a pattern you've never actually observed.
🎖️The Upgrade: Today, pick one conversation and run the "ambivert protocol" — two ears, two eyes, one mouth. Say nothing for the first 60 seconds. Then ask one follow-up question. Watch what you learn.
(Full REAP breakdown and theta application below 👇)
That's not just a listening drill. That's how you catch the autopilot running your life. Awareness, as always, brings answers. Here's the breakdown.
"An army of lions led by a sheep will always be defeated by an army of sheep led by a lion. You cannot act out anything beyond your own belief of yourself."
— David Fulmer
Don't have time for the full podcast? I already pulled the exact moments that matter below. Hit play if you want to see it live, or keep scrolling for the breakdown.
Seeing it done makes it real. Now, let's extract the exact mechanics so you can apply this to your life today. Keep reading for the core concepts, the 5-minute audit, and the REAP framework to wire this in for good.
🌞 The Core Concept: The 7-Day Rhythm
David Fulmer didn't invent a new productivity system — he hijacked an old one. We already have Monday through Sunday burned into our brains as "brain tracks." His insight was brutally simple: attach a superhuman attribute to each day, live it for two or three weeks, and you stop having to remember it — because now it's wired. Here's how the week breaks down.
🟢 Motivation Monday — Purpose
More heart attacks happen between 8 AM and noon on Monday than at any other time of the week. That's not a coincidence — it's the rhythm of a life without direction.
Monday is the day you review your why: Why am I at this job? What am I actually building? Where do I want to be in five years?
Fulmer calls it a charging station, not a hype session — because as he puts it, you can't run on giant motivation every day, or you'll become "a motivated idiot."

🟡 Tracking Tuesday — Self-Awareness
The average person has 60,000 thoughts a day — and roughly 80% of them are negative. High-level performers flip the ratio. Tuesday is the day you step outside yourself and watch: How am I communicating? Am I a story-stealer? A story-topper?
The best communicators aren't introverts or extroverts — they're ambiverts: extroverts who know when to shut up, and introverts who know when to speak up.
Fulmer's confession is worth borrowing: "I've been a story stealer. My wife has to tell me to stop."
🔵 Whisper Wednesday — Intuition
Ask first responders, airline pilots, Army Rangers, or Navy SEALs about the moments their lives depended on a hunch — they'll all tell you the same thing: intuition is real, and it's a muscle.
Fulmer calls it "the whisper that comes from your heart." The problem is that 80–90% of people live on literal autopilot, drowning the whisper in notifications and noise. Wednesday is the day you get into an organic environment — mountains, ocean, desert — shut the phone off and listen.
🟣 Thankful Thursday — Gratitude
Fulmer's favorite line: "An army of lions led by a sheep will always be defeated by an army of sheep led by a lion. "The reason isn't physical — it's psychological.
A human being cannot act out anything beyond their own belief about themselves. Potential rides the bench. Humans are the only species that willfully act like sheep while being lions inside. Thursday is the day you weaponize gratitude to remind yourself what you actually are.
Then there's the story that changed him. Two weeks before his wedding, Fulmer put a wood blade on an angle grinder — which you're not supposed to do — and cut his bicep clean in half. At the hospital, the surgeon postponed his surgery to save a 12-year-old girl from a major car accident.
When he came out of surgery, a nurse was crying: that was the only doctor who could have put the girl back together. "Here's this tragedy in my life, and it gave life to another."

🔴 Forgiveness Friday — Forgiveness
Forgiveness is the hardest of the seven. Fulmer breaks it into four moves:
Forgive your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles — whatever happened, let it go.
Forgive the people being idiots right now. You don't have to let them back in your life — but you have to let it go.
Forgive yourself. 100%. Have the conversation with the man in the mirror.
Apologize when you do something dumb — and mean it.
His framework: "All forgiveness is a tailwind." Holding a grudge is a headwind — the same plane, the same fuel, dramatically different results. His most powerful story: a Forgiveness Friday social post led to a 3-hour phone call with a high school classmate who had hated him for 30 years. A 46-year-old man weeping on the phone: "I never thought I'd like you."
🟠 Satisfaction Saturday — Joy & Connection
Saturday is short and sweet: the 3 M's — Make money, make Moments, make Memories. Nobody on their deathbed wishes they spent more time in the war room.
Fulmer's framing: the point of making money isn't the money — it's the moments it buys, which become the memories you leave behind. "That's all you have — your agency and your memories."
🟤 Supplication Sunday — Humility
After 14 years of Brazilian jiu-jitsu — thousands of taps to people half his age — Fulmer learned the most countercultural lesson of the week: tap out to God.
Humility isn't weakness; it's the doorway. "God, I can't do this without you." The vulnerable prayer is the powerful one.

❓ Quick Reality Check (Before We Begin)
🔸You might be thinking: "This is just another productivity framework. I've tried systems before — I quit by week two."
The Truth: That's exactly the point of the calendar hijack. Most systems fail because you have to remember them. Monday through Sunday you already know. Once you attach an attribute to a day you already live, you're no longer fighting your memory — you're riding an existing brain track. Fulmer's claim: "Live it for two, three weeks — I'm done. I don't have to remember it."
🔸"This sounds spiritual, not practical. I'm not a religious person."
The Truth: Strip the language and you're left with a nervous-system protocol. Gratitude measurably shifts dopamine. Forgiveness reduces cortisol and cardiovascular load. Intuition is trained pattern recognition used by every high-stakes profession on earth.
Self-awareness is the core skill in every leadership study of the last 30 years. You don't have to share Fulmer's faith to benefit from the rhythm — but you do have to actually run it.
🚀 The REAP 5-Minute Reset & Rewire
This is why I built REAP. Not as another journaling prompt. Not as another morning routine. As a neurological wiring protocol— a way to take the truths you already know and actually install them into your identity before the day runs you.
Fulmer's whole framework rests on one principle: the days you already know become the tracks you ride. That's Hebbian learning in plain English —"neurons that fire together, wire together." First established by Donald Hebb in 1949 and continuously validated in modern neuroplasticity research, this is the mechanism behind every habit you've ever built — good or bad.
Run one full round right now:
🔸 R — Recognize & Run Out (Minutes 1 & 2)
Name the day of the week where you consistently fall off. Is it Monday, when the pressure hits and you snap back into autopilot? Is it Friday, when the old grudge resurfaces? Fact-check it honestly: has the pattern you're running actually built the life you want — or just given you a convincing story about why you can't have it? Pause the old script.
🔸 E — Exchange + Envision + Emotion (Minutes 3 & 4)
Exchange the passive reading for a mental rehearsal. Picture yourself tomorrow morning at the exact moment you'd normally default — the phone in hand, the coffee poured, the day already running you. Now picture the opposite: you pause. You name the day. You name the attribute. You run the one move that day calls for. Feel the difference between being run by the week and running it.
🔸 A — Activate with Action (Minute 5)
Write down — right now, in your phone, one line — the single day of the week you're going to attack first. Not all seven. One. Motivation Monday is the natural starting point, but if Forgiveness Friday is what your gut said when you read it, start there. Commit before you close this tab.
🔸 P — Program & Prosper (The Theta Window)
Lock it in during your neurological goldmine: the first 5–10 minutes after waking, or the last 5–10 before sleep. Say the day. Say the attribute. Say the action. Stack the reps. Presence becomes identity. Identity becomes reality.

🧠 Don't Let This Fade!
